Lucys Take on Life - The Inspiration for this Adventure

She came from London’s backstreets, danced through Paris and Monaco, shrewdly married wealthy men and learned how to call the shots and relished life at her beautiful home in the Scottish Cairngorms by the River Spey.

"Deals, large and small, I loved them all... especially my huge biplane ‘Lucy’ which I sent on the greatest of missions - to fly over the Himalayas."

She set up hospitals, helped the homeless, scourged the Government and put her money behind people with bold spirit and courage. The Schneider Trophy, engines for the Spitfire and the First Flight over Everest. All in a day’s work for Lucy.
